SMI-1110-M2ST2 10/100/1000 Media & Rate Converter.

A managed Fiber-to-Ethernet media and rate converter that transparently bridges copper and fiber networks. It converts 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ-45) connections up to 100 m (328 ft.) to 1000BASE-LX extended multimode fiber at 1310 nm using ST connectors, supporting distances up to 2 km (6,562 ft.).

Designed for security-critical environments, it supports enterprise AAA authentication services including TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS, and RSA. To protect IDs and passwords from network snooping, secure management sessions are available via SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet, and HTTPS.
