The Perle S-110P-M2SC2-XT is a 10/100Base Industrial Media and Rate Converter that connects 10/100Base-TX (RJ-45) copper to 100BASE-FX 1310nm multimode fiber (SC) with a reach of up to 2 km (1.2 miles). Built for tough industrial environments, this converter operates in extended temperatures ranging from -40°F to +167°F (-40°C to +75°C).
Featuring a terminal block power connector for an external power source, the S-110P-M2SC2-XT also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), providing up to 15.4 watts of power to PoE-enabled devices like IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards, this media converter offers a reliable and transparent connection for converting copper to fiber, ensuring high-performance connectivity in industrial and harsh environmental applications.
