This fiber-to-Ethernet media converter is designed for installation in the MCR200 or MCR1900 modular chassis systems, enabling seamless copper-to-fiber connectivity.
Ideal for secure network environments, these managed modules, when used with an MCR-MGT Management Module, support full authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services commonly used in enterprise networks—such as TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS, and RSA. For added protection against unauthorized access and data interception, Perle Managed Fiber Converters offer secure management via SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet, and HTTPS protocols.
