CM-100-M2SC2 Managed Fast Ethernet Media Converter Module.

Connects 100BASE-TX (RJ-45) [up to 100 m / 328 ft.] to 100BASE-FX 1310nm multimode fiber (SC connector) [up to 2 km / 1.2 miles]. Offers both managed and unmanaged modes of operation.

This fiber-to-Ethernet media converter is designed for installation in MCR200 or MCR1900 modular chassis systems, enabling seamless UTP copper-to-fiber connectivity.

Ideal for secure network environments, these managed modules support full authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) features when used with the MCR-MGT Management Module installed in the chassis. Supported security protocols include TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS, and RSA. To safeguard credentials and prevent unauthorized access, Perle Managed Fiber Converters ensure secure management through SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet, and HTTPS protocols.
