CM-110-M2LC2 10/100Base-TX Managed Media and Rate Converter Module.
This module converts 10/100Base-TX (RJ-45) copper connections [up to 100 m / 328 ft.] to 100BASE-FX fiber using 1310nm multimode LC connectors [up to 2 km / 1.2 miles]. It supports both managed and unmanaged operation modes.
Specifically designed for installation in the MCR200 or MCR1900 Modular Chassis Systems, this fiber-to-Ethernet media converter enables seamless connectivity between UTP copper and fiber networks.
These managed converter modules are ideal for secure network environments. When used with an MCR-MGT Management Module installed in the chassis, they support a full range of authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) protocols commonly used in enterprise networks, such as TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS, and RSA. To protect sensitive credentials and data from network eavesdropping, Perle Managed Fiber Converters also support secure management access via SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet, and HTTPS
