Perle SR-1000-ST10-XT Gigabit Industrial Media Rate Converter.
The Perle SR-1000-ST10-XT is a Gigabit industrial media rate converter that connects 1000BASE-T copper Ethernet (RJ-45, up to 100 m / 328 ft) to 1000BASE-LX/LH single-mode fiber at 1310 nm with an ST connector, supporting distances up to 10 km (6.2 miles). It is designed for extreme operating conditions, with a temperature range of -40°C to +75°C (-40°F to +167°F), and is housed in a DIN-rail mountable enclosure with a terminal block (Combicon) power connector for an external power source.
The SR-1000-XT series transparently bridges Gigabit CAT5/6/7 UTP copper networks to dual-fiber links while operating in industrial-grade temperature ranges. These converters are built to withstand harsh environments where commercial-grade media converters fail, making them ideal for applications such as traffic management, oil and gas pipelines, weather monitoring, industrial automation, and outdoor installations. They are especially suited for connecting devices like security cameras, wireless access points, alarms, traffic controllers, sensors, and tracking equipment that must reliably operate under severe temperature conditions.
