The Perle SR-1110-ST10 is an industrial media and rate converter that provides reliable connectivity between 10/100/1000BASE-T copper Ethernet (RJ-45, up to 100 m / 328 ft) and 1000BASE-LX/LH single-mode fiber at 1310 nm using an ST connector, supporting distances of up to 10 km (6.2 miles). It is housed in a DIN-rail mountable enclosure and features a terminal block (Combicon) power connector for an external power source.
The SR-1110 series DIN Rail Media Converters transparently link CAT5/6/7 UTP copper networks to dual-fiber connections. With built-in rate conversion, these converters allow legacy 10/100/1000BASE-T equipment to communicate over Gigabit fiber, extending the service life of non-fiber-based devices while enabling long-distance, high-speed data transmission.
