Perle SRS-1110-GSC05 Industrial Gigabit Media Rate Converter.
The Perle SRS-1110-GSC05 is an industrial-grade media rate converter that enables seamless connectivity between 10/100/1000BASE-T copper Ethernet (RJ-45, up to 100 m / 328 ft) and 1000BASE-SX multimode fiber operating at 850 nm with an SC connector (up to 550 m / 1804 ft). It is engineered for reliable performance in extreme conditions, supporting an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C (-40°F to +167°F).
Designed in a compact DIN-rail mountable enclosure, the converter includes a terminal block (Combicon) power connector for connection to an external power source. It complies with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards, making it ideal for deployment in electric utility and power substation environments.
The SRS-1110-G series transparently connects CAT5/6/7 UTP copper networks to Gigabit dual-fiber links, ensuring dependable operation in electrically harsh and noise-prone industrial settings. Additional compliance with EN 61000-4-16 further enhances its suitability for critical infrastructure applications.
In addition, SRS media converters are certified for use in hazardous industrial locations. With hazardous location approvals including ATEX Class 1 Zone 2 and ANSI/ISA 12.12.01 Class 1 Division 2 (Groups A–D), the SRS-1110-GSC05 provides safe and reliable operation in environments where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible liquids may be present.
