IOLAN SDS8 Secure Device Server.
The IOLAN SDS8 is a secure device server featuring eight RJ45 serial ports with software-selectable EIA232, EIA422, or EIA485 interfaces. It comes in a 1U rack-mount form factor and offers 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet connectivity, IPv6 support, COM port redirection, and 15 kV ESD protection. Advanced security features—including data encryption, user authentication, and event management—are integrated, and an AC power adapter is included.
Designed as a serial-to-Ethernet solution, the IOLAN SDS8 enables RS232, RS422, and RS485 equipment to be easily web- or network-enabled, providing secure and reliable serial communication over Ethernet networks.
