Perle IOLAN SCS8C Secure Console Server.
The Perle IOLAN SCS8C is a secure serial console server designed to provide reliable remote management for devices with RS232 console ports. It features eight RJ45 RS232 ports with Cisco pinouts and EIA232 interfaces, along with dual 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet connections for network redundancy. The system includes a PCI slot for an optional V.92 modem card, advanced data encryption, user authentication and event management, IPv6 support, COM port redirection, and 15 kV ESD protection. An AC power adapter is included.
As a serial-to-Ethernet solution, the IOLAN SCS8C enables data center managers to securely access and manage serial-based equipment over an IP network, ensuring dependable out-of-band console access for critical infrastructure devices.
