IOLAN SDS8C Secure Device Server.
The IOLAN SDS8C is a secure device server featuring eight RJ45 serial ports with software-selectable RS232, RS422, or RS485 interfaces and Cisco pinout support. It comes in a 1U rack-mount form factor and includes dual 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports, IPv6 support, COM port redirection, and 15 kV ESD protection. Advanced security features such as data encryption, user authentication, and event management are built in, and an AC power adapter is included.
Designed as a serial-to-Ethernet solution, the IOLAN SDS8C enables RS232, RS422, and RS485 equipment to be easily web- or network-enabled, providing secure and reliable serial communication over Ethernet networks.
