IOLAN SDG8 P Device Server.
The IOLAN SDG8 P is a high-density device server featuring eight RJ45 serial ports with software-selectable RS232, RS422, or RS485 interfaces. It provides 10/100/1000 Ethernet connectivity and supports IPv6, COM port redirection, and robust 15 kV ESD protection. Advanced security features such as data encryption, user authentication, and event management are built in. The device is IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant as a powered device and also includes an AC power adapter for flexible power options.
Designed as a serial-to-Ethernet solution, the IOLAN SDG8 P enables RS232, RS422, and RS485 equipment to be easily web- or network-enabled, delivering secure and reliable serial communication over Ethernet networks.
