The IOLAN SDG8 P is a high-capacity device server featuring eight RJ45 serial ports with software-selectable RS232, RS422, or RS485 interfaces. It offers 10/100/1000 Ethernet connectivity and supports IPv6, COM port redirection, and 15 kV ESD protection. Advanced security features—including data encryption, user authentication, and event management—are integrated, and the device is compliant with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) as a powered device.
Designed as a serial-to-Ethernet solution, the IOLAN SDG8 P enables RS232, RS422, and RS485 equipment to be easily web- or network-enabled. It is ideal for applications that utilize PoE power sources, delivering secure and reliable serial communication over Ethernet networks.
