The Perle IOLAN SCG50 R is a high-performance console server designed for secure remote management of RS232 and USB-enabled devices. It offers 48 RS232 RJ45 interfaces with software-configurable Cisco pinouts, 2 USB 3.0 (Type-A) console management ports, a front-panel display and keyboard, and dual network connections supporting 10/100/1000Base-T copper and 100/1000Base-X fiber SFP. Additional features include a microSD card slot, micro USB, RS232 RJ45 console admin ports, dual AC power for redundancy, 15kV ESD protection, COM port redirector, and IPv6 support. Comprehensive security features include advanced data encryption, user authentication, and event management.
The SCG50 R’s modular design allows IT administrators to swap, upgrade, and scale using any mix-and-match combination of 16-port USB 3.0 or RS232 RJ45 interface module cards, providing flexibility for evolving infrastructure needs.
