The IOLAN SDG1 TX is a rugged, secure serial device server designed to network-enable equipment with RS232, RS422, or RS485 interfaces in extreme temperature environments. It features a single DB9 male connector with software-selectable serial modes, 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connectivity, and full IPv6 support. Advanced security features—including data encryption, user authentication, and event management—protect critical communications, while the built-in COM port redirector ensures seamless integration with applications. With 15 kV ESD protection and a pigtail power connector, the SDG1 TX operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°F to +165°F (-40°C to +74°C), making it ideal for industrial and harsh environment deployments.
