The IOLAN SCG16 is a secure console server featuring 16 RS232 RJ45 interfaces with software-configurable Cisco pinouts. It includes a single auto-sensing 10/100/1000 RJ45 Ethernet port, Micro USB and RS232 RJ45 console admin ports, IPv6 support, COM port redirection, and 15 kV ESD protection. Advanced security features such as data encryption, user authentication, and event management are integrated, and an AC power adapter is included.
Perle IOLAN SCG Console Servers allow data center managers to securely access and manage devices with RS232 RJ45 console ports—such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers, PBXs, network storage equipment, and security appliances—over an IP network.
