The IOLAN SCG18 R is a high-performance console server featuring 16 RS232 RJ45 interfaces with software-configurable Cisco pinouts and 2 USB 3.0 (Type-A) console management ports. It includes a front panel display with keyboard, dual network connections with 10/100/1000Base-T copper and 100/1000Base-X fiber SFP ports, a Micro SD card slot, and Micro USB and RS232 RJ45 console admin ports. The server is expandable using IOLAN G16 RS232 or USB module cards. Security features include advanced data encryption, user authentication, event management, COM port redirection, IPv6 support, and 15 kV ESD protection. Dual AC power adapters are included for redundancy.

Perle IOLAN SCG Console Servers enable secure remote console management of devices with RS232 RJ45 or USB console ports, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, PBXs, network storage devices, and security appliances, with connectivity via WiFi or integrated V.92 modem dial-up.
