CM-100-M1ST2U Media Converter.
The CM-100-M1ST2U is a Managed Fast Ethernet Media Converter module designed for environments where network security is critical. It bridges a 100Base-TX (RJ-45) copper connection (up to 100m) to a single-strand, 100Base-BX fiber link (up to 2 km) using an ST connector (1310nm TX / 1550nm RX).
When paired with the MCR-MGT Management Module, it provides full AAA security services (including TACACS+, RADIUS, etc.) and supports secure management sessions via SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet, and HTTPS to protect IDs and passwords. It can be installed in MCR200 or MCR1900 Chassis Systems for either managed or unmanaged operation.
