The PXFP-10GD-S2LC10 is a 10 Gigabit XFP optical transceiver designed for 10GBASE-LR applications. It operates at a wavelength of 1310nm over single-mode fiber (LC connector) and supports transmission distances up to 10 km (6.2 miles). The module includes Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DMI) for real-time diagnostics and performance monitoring.
This transceiver provides a reliable fiber-to-Ethernet solution with compact, hot-swappable connectors, allowing a single device to interface with a variety of fiber and copper cabling types and distances. It is compatible with Perle 10GbE XFP Media Converters and third-party equipment that supports MSA-compliant XFP transceivers.
