CM-100MM-M2SC2 Managed Fast Ethernet Fiber-to-Fiber Converter Module.
This managed fiber-to-fiber converter module extends 100BASE-FX 1310nm multimode fiber (SC) up to 2 km (1.2 miles) on both ends, offering both managed and unmanaged operation modes.
Designed for installation in the MCR200 or MCR1900 Modular Chassis System, it provides transparent fiber extension from 100Base-FX multimode fiber to 100Base-FX multimode or 100Base-LX/EX/ZX/BX single-mode fiber.
Ideal for secure networking environments, these managed modules work with the MCR-MGT Management Module to support critical authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) security services, including TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS, and RSA. To enhance security further, they offer encrypted management sessions using SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet, and HTTPS, protecting network credentials from unauthorized access.
