CM-100MM-M2ST2 Managed Fast Ethernet Fiber-to-Fiber Converter Module.
This managed fiber-to-fiber media converter module extends 100BASE-FX 1310nm multimode fiber (ST) up to 2 km (1.2 miles) on both ends. It offers both managed and unmanaged operation modes.
Designed for installation in the MCR200 or MCR1900 Modular Chassis System, it provides transparent fiber extension between 100Base-FX multimode fiber, 100Base-LX/EX/ZX/BX single-mode fiber, or other multimode connections.
These managed modules are ideal for environments where network security is a top priority. When paired with an MCR-MGT Management Module, they support critical authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services, including TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS, and RSA. Additionally, they offer secure management with support for SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet, and HTTPS, protecting credentials from unauthorized access.
