Perle Systems 05091180 SR-100-ST2D Media Converter
SR-100-ST2D Fast Ethernet Industrial Media Converter.
This industrial media converter supports 100Base-TX over RJ-45 copper (up to 100 m / 328 ft) and converts it to 100Base-BX single-strand fiber using 1550 nm transmit and 1310 nm receive wavelengths. It supports multimode ST fiber connections with a maximum distance of 2 km (1.2 miles). The unit features a DIN-rail mountable enclosure and a Combicon terminal block for connection to an external power source.
Perle SR-100 DIN-rail media converters provide transparent connectivity between Fast Ethernet CAT5/6/7 UTP copper and single-strand fiber. When using single-strand fiber—also known as Bi-Directional (BiDi) or Simplex fiber—a matched pair of devices (Up and Down models) is required to complete the fiber link.
