SR-100-SC20U-XT Fast Ethernet Industrial Media Converter.

This rugged media converter connects 100Base-TX (RJ-45) to 100Base-BX single-strand fiber (1310nm TX / 1550nm RX), with a transmission range of up to 20 km (12.4 miles) over single-mode fiber (SC). It supports an extended operating temperature range of -40°F to +167°F (-40°C to +75°C) and features a DIN Rail case with a terminal block (Combicon) power connector for an external power source.

The Perle SR-100-XT DIN Rail Media Converter provides seamless connectivity between Fast Ethernet UTP CAT5/6/7 copper cables and single-strand fiber, designed to operate in industrial environments where temperatures and conditions are too harsh for commercial media converters. It is perfect for use in sectors like traffic management, oil and gas pipelines, weather tracking, and other outdoor or industrial applications, supporting devices exposed to severe temperatures, such as security cameras, wireless access points, alarms, traffic controllers, sensors, and tracking devices.

Note: When using single-strand (Bi-Directional/BiDi/Simplex) fiber, two devices (Up/Down models) are required to complete the fiber conversion.
