SR-100-SC20D-XT Fast Ethernet Industrial Media Converter.
This industrial-grade media converter connects 100Base-TX (RJ-45) to 100Base-BX single-strand fiber (1550nm TX / 1310nm RX), supporting distances up to 20 km (12.4 miles) over single-mode fiber (SC). It operates in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°F to +167°F (-40°C to +75°C) and features a DIN Rail case with a terminal block (Combicon) power connector for external power sources.
Designed for demanding environments, the Perle SR-100-XT DIN Rail Media Converter seamlessly links Fast Ethernet UTP CAT5/6/7 copper to single-strand fiber in industrial applications. Ideal for industries like traffic management, oil and gas pipelines, weather tracking, and other outdoor or industrial sectors, this converter supports devices exposed to harsh conditions such as security cameras, wireless access points, alarms, traffic controllers, sensors, and tracking devices.
Note: When using single-strand (Bi-Directional/BiDi/Simplex) fiber, two devices (Up/Down models) are required for fiber conversion.
