Perle eX-1CM1110-BNC Managed Gigabit Ethernet Extender Module.

A managed Gigabit Ethernet extender module featuring one 10/100/1000Base-T (RJ-45) port and a BNC coaxial VDSL2 interlink connector. Designed for installation in the MCR200 or MCR1900 Modular Chassis System, it enables data transmission up to 10,000 feet (3 km) over a single twisted pair (CAT5/6/7), coax, or existing copper wiring previously used for alarm systems, E1/T1 circuits, RS-232/422/485, CCTV, and CATV applications.

These managed modules are ideal for environments where LAN extension and network security are critical. When used with an MCR-MGT Management Module installed in the chassis, they support comprehensive authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) security services, including TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS, and RSA. To protect IDs and passwords from network snooping, Perle Managed Ethernet Extenders also provide secure management sessions through support for SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet, and HTTPS.
