The eXP-1S1110L-BNC-XT is a rugged industrial PoE Gigabit Ethernet extender featuring one 10/100/1000Base-T (RJ-45) port and a BNC (coax) VDSL2 interlink connector. It provides power over the VDSL link and supports data transmission distances of up to 10,000 feet (3 km) using single twisted pair (CAT5/6/7), coaxial cable, or existing copper wiring previously used for alarm systems, E1/T1 circuits, RS-232/422/485, CCTV, and CATV applications.
Designed for harsh industrial environments, this extender operates reliably across extended temperature ranges from -40°F to 167°F (-40°C to 75°C). The integrated PoE power controller ensures full compliance with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards. At the central site, it operates as a Powered Device (PD), supporting both end-span and mid-span PSE power sources, while the remote unit functions as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), delivering up to 15.4 W of power to PoE and PoE+ compliant devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points.
